Quebrada Azul is located in Platanar in San Carlos, established in 1960 it is currently responsible for 75% of the cane of the area. This mill has a milling capacity of about 2,880 metric tons of cane daily and can produce white and raw sugar.
61% of the producers deliver between 1 and 250 metric tons of cane per year, from the cantons of San Carlos and Los Chiles.
