From Perez Zeledon, Coopeagri R.L. is a cooperative established in 1962; it produced 50% of the cane in the area during the last harvest (2017-2018). This mill has a milling capacity of about 3,800 metric tons of cane per day and can produce white and raw sugar. 96% of the producers deliver between 1 and 250 metric tons of cane per year.
