Established in 1982 for every sugar producer and manufacturer represented by LAICA, the Sugarcane Research and Extension Direction (DIECA, for its acronym in Spanish) focuses its efforts in research, transference, technology and the provision of support services.
Sugarcane producers are part of our essence and they are a key element in what we do. The Federation of Chambers of Sugarcane Producers (FEDECAÑA, for its acronym in Spanish) represents them, and also promotes and defends the interests and rights of this important sector.
